I come from prog rock/metal first, so the riffs are important to me. A pure blowing album likely won't please me(see: Time is the Enemy) I like structure and song development. Early Tribal Tech over late Tribal Tech, easily. Soloing is secondary to a song that I like.
Of course, "good" songwriting is subjective. Chick Corea is my favorite of all time, especially with RTF and Elektric Band. More cool, memorable riffs there than most guys whole career. Bands like PAKT are the last thing I want to hear

Bands like PAKT are the last thing I want to hear I’d say I prioritize soloing. But the changes & harmony come into play. I like just about everything that you do, so there is some overlap, but you probably don’t care for some of the pure blowing ones I like.
