Truly awful.
We have a problem with racism in the UK but some of the things going on in the USA are pretty unbelievable. I don't think any but a tiny minority of people in the UK would post some thing like this.

I saw it. I'm done being surprised by this kind of crap though. She's a good player, but she's a fool.

You know what else irks me about it with these people? They're so vociferous in spewing all this crap, but when the light gets turned on it, they don't have the stones to stand behind their words. She pulled the offending posts. If I felt as strongly as she seemed to, about anything, I'd like to think I would still back my claims when called out on the carpet. Coward.

Along those lines: Hillary's rant was pretty over the top, but I think a big part of the problem is that in America, there is really no opportunity for dialogue on this topic. Any time someone voices an opinion other than what is being condoned by activists, they immediately get shamed as being racist trump supporters. I'm not saying that hate speach should be condoned, but why not have try to have some discourse on it? It's sort of like the only choice is to pick your side and not question, discuss or deviate. Don't get me wrong: I'm not talking about enabling racist views in any way, but rather trying to reason through it and maybe shift these people's views in a constructive way. I can guarantee that coming at their hate with more hate will just make things worse. I was listening to a podcast about how the Dutch deal with issues like this, and it is much more like the model I'm describing.
