I watched the Webb Allstars concert stream on Fri. Doug Webb - sax, Danny Carey - drums, Jimmy Earl - bass, Jamie Kime - guitar, Mich Forman - keys. They covered Joe Henderson, Miles, Cobham, The Doors, Zappa. I was unfamiliar with Carey, the drummer from Tool (A band I never gave much thought about), but that dude was a monster. Endless jazz chops & no problem paying homage to Cobham. Kime toured with Dweezil, and has that repertoire.

Are these things just a single center cam, or what? How would you rate the quality?

Are these things just a single center cam, or what? How would you rate the quality? The camera work: 4/5. There are multiple angles, used appropriately. Video quality: 3/5 - Visible compression @ 4K. Sound quality 3/5 -occasional sound drop outs prevent it from being 4 or 5/5 - of course no way it would compete with the SQ of being in that venue, which is my favorite. They have a full pro-tools mixing room in the back, so capability for very good out of the board sound. For me, any way to support & experience my favorite venue on earth is welcome. But no substitute for being there.
