Have we ever had a thread about books addressing fusion music?
I vaguely remember one in the distant past but it doesn't appear to be on the current site. Many of us have a bit more spare time due to the corona virus lockdown and it seems a good time to share recommendations.
So for a start here are 5 John McLauglin books I own:
Colin Harper - Bathed In Lightning Walter Kolosky - Power, Passion and Beauty Walter Kolosky - Follow Your Heart Ken Trethewey - The Emerald Beyond Paul Stump - Go Ahead John
Ken Trethewey has written a number of books about other fusion artists.

I have Power, Passion, and Beauty. Also, Bill Milkowski's Jaco bio, and Bill Bruford's autobiography.
I wish there was an all encompassing reference book about the genre. Anything like that out there?

The only book I know of that covers the genre rather than a specific artist is Jazz-Rock A History by Stuart Nicholson which was published in 1998.
Ken Trethewey has a website and as far as I know all his books are still available from him.
