The last few years have seen most of the original bands either re-uniting, or the founding member going on tour with their classic 70s material. This has made for some great tours & live albums. Off the top of my head, we have: Billy Cobham - Spectrum 40 Return to Forever - The Mothership Returns McLaughlin/Herring - Live in San Francisco Al Di Meloa - Elegant Gypsy & More (Live) Brand X Locked & Loaded.
And there was the Dreggs reunion tour, but I don't believe there was an official release. And the 11th house Seven Secrets (studio)
What am I leaving out?

Nice idea funkle but McLaughlin/Herring shouldn't be on this list.

Nice idea funkle but McLaughlin/Herring shouldn't be on this list. Why not? Because it did not feature the entire original band? Neither did any of the others. They covered a lot of Mahavishnu material at the concert, and was the closest I'll ever come to seeing Mahavishnu live.

Apart from McLaughlin there was nobody from the Mahavishnu Orchestra on that tour so how is that a reunion?

UZEB a few years back. Not sure if they're still together.
At the same time Confusion (Israel) made its reunion. They played some gigs (or maybe just one), released their new website, wrote about 2018 tour, and then... nothing. I guess someone got a better gig.

I wasn't even aware that they had broken up. I was thinking 70's bands, but I'll take it.
