Difficult to identify just 10 albums. However to add to the fun here are 10 more bassists who have good solo albums that have not already been mentioned:
Victor Bailey Jeff Berlin Hadrien Feraud Jonas Hellborg Alphonso Johnson Bernhard Lackner Pippo Matino Marcus Miller Jaco Pastorius Gary Willis

Interesting topic!
I'm a kind of 'bass music addict', most CD's mentioned I know. The ones I don't know I will check out.
Some CD's I like:
David Dyson 'Unleashed' Doug Johns 'Pocket fulla nasty' SMV 'Thunder' Tetsuo Saukrai 'Vital world' Victor Wooten 'Live in America' Marcus Miller 'Tales' Mitchell Coleman 'Soul searching' Vail Johnson 'Says who' Max Stowers 'Elements of funk' Bill "The Buddha" Dickens 'Tha truth' Paul Jackson 'Funk on a stick' Peter Muller 'The flow' Charles Glenn 'The bass king' Byron Miller 'Psycho bass' Jonas Hellborg Group 'Look' Tetsujino 'Double trouble' Brian Bromberg 'Hands'

My favorites other than the artists already mentioned. I am guessing after all that the aim is to provide some names for seeking out different tunes!!
Damian Erskine – So To Speak
Dave Buda – Budaisms
Tal Wilkenfeld – Cosmic Farm
Flim & The BB’s (Jimmy Johnson) – Further Adventures Of
Adrian Del Vecchio – Anxiety
Janek Gwizdala – It Only Happens Once
Laurence Cottle – Five Seasons
Dieter Ilg - Summerhill

A few I've not heard...cool!
Some additions from me:
Yiorgos Fakanas--Acrobat is a winner, IMO. Stern, Lew Soloff, Dennis Chambers on board. Sound is fabulous, as well. I like Abe Laboriel's albums--Guidum and Dear Friends--but they may not be to everyone's taste. All of Adam Nitti's albums are great--"Not of This World" is the latest, though I like Liminal, as well... Alain Caron's albums are all great. Al Garcia's "All things Must converge" and "Make it so." Bunny Brunel. Christian McBride's solo albums, but for fusion "Science Fiction" is pretty great.
Dominique diPiazza's latest, Living Hope, is more jazz than fusion, I guess, but it's great.

I also like most of the other albums you mention. I wonder what happened to Tal Wilkenfeld after such a promising debut in 2007 (did you mean Transformation rather than Cosmic Farm?). Her website suggests she is trying to raise funds for a vocal album

You are right, it is 'Transformation'. The track I like most is 'Cosmic Farm'. Tal had an auto accident a while back and I know she has been out of commission for a while.

Really bland singer-songwriter stuff, and she is a pretty bad singer.
