I thought Tekazu Sessions only release was a dvd. They had a cd/dvd combo released in 2011. I think they also had a later dvd released. I see a 2012, cd only on Amazon. Cool cover. None of their stuff is 10 years old though. I think that's the number JaySee wanted to stick to as a yardstick for being done

That's what I hear as well. Cosmic Farm is no more a super group than Ivan Smart Mob who has Larry Bright who is as good as Dennis Chambers along with Gary Grainger on bass and Sheryl Bailey who are both well known in the jazz/fusion community. I was going to mention Spectrum Road but three of them are recognized names but not really in the jazz/fusion community. Supergroups have never been defined by how good anyone is. From Wikipedia: "A supergroup is a music group whose members have successful solo careers or are part of other groups...." That is Cosmic Farm to a tee, as well as Mojo, and Spectrum Road. Ivan Smart Mob is less a band, than a band-ish name for a solo performer with rotating sidemen. Bright lives on the other side of the country these days. No way is he on all the gigs. Bailey wasn't on the gig for the review I just read.

Sixteen years ago were any guys in MOJO famous enough to be called a super group.

When that was made nobody in there was a household name and still aren't. In fusion households?? Garsed and Fierabracci are first rate guys who all fusers are aware of, if not fans of. Baker less so perhaps, but stints in H/L/S/ and Ohm, two fusion mainstays, as well as solo albums. Their being known commodities to those in the know was the main reason the record was attractive at all

Fusion fame doesn't equate to real world fame in any sense. 9 out of 10 people I pass today don't know John McLaughlin. Are you going to try and tell me YOU didn't know who they were at the time? I know I did

Michael Manring - Thonk (I think his other solos were more new age) Paco Benitez - Artesania I think at least a couple of other Manring albums are fusion too. I love Thonk though.

Manring was mostly Windham Hill. Even Dave Holland other than Prism he was mostly a jazz guy. Every once in awhile they will pull their head out of the sand.

Personally I don't think Drastic Measures and The Book of Flame are very new age.
