Seeing the banner gave me the thought on this one. It seems like opinions vary wildly on these guys.
9. Is There Anything About - I haven't heard it in 25 years probably, so it's hard to be authoritative, but I remember thinking it was lame, and others reviews thru the years haven't made me want to go back at it.
8. Moroccan Roll - This is ranked one of their best by most, but I don't know why. Sure, Malaga Virgen, Macrocosm, and Disco Suicide are great, but the rest of it? Not for me. Maybe Hate Zone.
7. Do They Hurt - Voidarama and DMZ are my favorites in a decent, but unexciting bunch of tunes. Act of Will is my least favorite track they ever did.
6. Manifest Destiny - A different kind of record for them, but I like a pretty good portion of it.
5. Missing Period - Cool, early take on their stuff. Good, raw, jamming, but they would get better as writers.
4. Product - My friend Neil produced this one. Some really strong material, and some snoozers IMO, namely, the vocal tracks(of course!) and the bass features. Not Good Enough - See Me! is a top 5 song of theirs.
3. Unorthodox Behaviour - One of their most consistent records, known mostly for the two lead cuts, I'd say.
2. Masques - The best of the old stuff, for me. I'll take Burgi and Robinson over Collins and Lumley any day, so this fits me quite well.
1. XCommunication - Odd choice for most probably, but I like the dark aggression of this, and Katz is my favorite of all their drummers. I wore this out when it hit in 92, and saw the tour as well.
I don't put live albums in rankings generally, but Livestock is like, half new material, so I guess I'd slot it in the middle somewhere. Not a great live record, for me
