New Roberto Badoglio solo album, Lapse of Worry, comes out next week. With his Beyond Turbines mate Bjossi Klutsch on guitar.

Simon Phillips Protocol 4 is due October 26. The new lineup has Greg Howe replacing Timmons , and Dennis Hamm replacing Weingart.

I sense this is going to be more rock and less fusion than the previous Protocol albums. Why do you say that? Howe isn't a fusion guy per se, but more so than Timmons ever was. He's just a straight up blues rocker. I always thought he was the weak link on the Protocol stuff. Hamm's fusion cred is solid, albeit unexciting. I think Otmaro Ruiz is doing the tour. Much better!
